Dr. David Bertone, PT, DPT, OCS
Dr. David Bertone is a 1988 graduate of New York University's physical therapy program and has been a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist since 2005. In 2010, he received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the Evidence in Motion Institute of Health Professions.
Throughout his extensive 25-year career, Dr. Bertone has worked in many different practice environments but always focused on orthopedic rehabilitation. In 2008, he opened db Orthopedic Physical Therapy, PC to fulfill his desire to provide patients a unique, solo practice offering continuous and optimal evidence-based care. This approach utilizes the most up-to-date research to design a highly effective patient rehabilitation therapy program.
Dr. Bertone is a renowned and sought after subject matter expert in the practice of orthopedic physical therapy, specializing in the most current rehabilitation strategies. He is currently a member of the NJ Board of Physical Therapy Examiners appointed by Governor Chris Christie to assist in regulating the practice of physical therapy. He was the past president of the New Jersey Society of Independent Physical Therapists where he was an advocate for the independent practice of physical therapy in New Jersey. Dr. Bertone is committed to a healthy and active lifestyle through regular exercise, golfing and outings on his Harley Davidson.
Christina Scullari, Administrative Assistant
Christina graduated magna cum laude from Ramapo College of New Jersey. She has her degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. Prior to receiving her degree Christina also extensively studied visual arts and communication.
Christina is responsible for handling all administrative duties in the office including daily interactions with insurance companies and cultivating relationships with new and existing patients. She also works closely with the GRAVITY program run in the facility and assists in coordination and scheduling.
In her spare time, Christina enjoys spending time with friends and family and maintaining an active lifestyle.
