Coronavirus Precautions & Patient Planning For Your Safety
We understand the growing concern around the rapidly evolving Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak across the United States and the communities we serve. The health and safety of our patients and staff is our top priority and we care deeply about your well-being. We want to keep you informed of the precautions db Ortho PT is currently taking. At this time, there are no known cases of COVID-19 among any of the staff or patients. We are continuously monitoring the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and State of New Jersey officials for updates on recommendations. Medical offices are exempt from closure based on Governor Murphy's guidelines. Please see below for the steps we are asking from all clients and staff to take to minimize risk of transmission and maximize your health so that we can continue to provide uninterrupted services.
CLINIC STATUS:
Based on current guidelines and recommendations, db Ortho PT in both Lincroft and Manalapan WILL REMAIN OPEN. We will update you of any closures or schedule changes as they arise. We are working on modifying our office schedule to rotate days off for the staff and still provide high quality care for our patients that require rehabilitation. We will also reduce the number of patients scheduled at the same time to ensure we maintain the minimum 6ft apart for safe distancing.
WHAT WE ARE DOING:
All db Ortho PT staff members are consistently following protocols for hand-washing as well as sanitizing equipment and treatment tables BEFORE and AFTER appointments.In addition, waiting areas, bathrooms, doorknobs, and commonly shared spaces are disinfected on a regular basis throughout the day.
We are reducing crowding in our waiting room by re-organizing the seating area and limiting family members/friends accompanying patients to their appointments.
We have instructed all staff members to stay home if they are sick or if they are caring for a family member/house member who is currently ill.
WHAT WE ARE ASKING OF YOU:
Upon arrival, we ask that you kindly wave to the front desk to alert that you have arrived and wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds OR use the hand sanitizer provided at the front desk prior to your appointment. Please arrive close to your scheduled appointment time to minimize time spent in waiting area.

ANY signs of illness (Cough, Shortness of Breath, Fever temperature of 100.4 or higher, Chills, Sneezing or any flu-like symptoms).
If you believe that you have been exposed to COVID-19.
If you have v1s1ted OR have been In close contact w1tn anyone who has v1s1ted the following countries In the last 14 days: China, Iran, Italy, Japan, South Korea or any If you have traveled on a cruise ship w1th1n the last 14 day.
We will screen our clients by asking about each of the above at the start of each session. We ask that 1f you are over 18, you do not bring any companions to your vIsIt at this time.
A NOTE FOR HIGHER RISK PATIENTS
We want to be sure to safeguard any vulnerable populations at this time. If you have underlying chronic medical conditions such as heart disease, diabetes, or lung disease, are pregnant, or over the age of 60, you may wont to consider re-scheduling your appointment at this time. This includes patients with cancer and currently taking medications that suppress the immune system.
